Doctor Mark Kharkover graduated from Pediatric Medical School in 1981 in St. Petersburg, Russia. For almost 12 years he worked as a Pediatric Surgeon and was considered one of the leading specialists in the area of reconstructive surgery in Pediatric Burn Department. Along with being a practicing surgeon, Dr. Kharkover participated in extensive medical research, published more than 20 articles and in 1992 received his Ph.D. in Medicine with a dissertation titled "Different Methods of Deep Burns Treatment and Rehabilitation in Children".
In 1994, Dr. Kharkover came to the United States. He completed his residency in New York Methodist Hospital in June of 2000. In October 2001,
Dr. Kharkover was certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Since 2001, Dr. Kharkover has being seeing patients in Scotch Plains, New Jersey. He is an attending physician in Overlook Hospital in Summit and JFK Medical Center in Edison.
Dr. Kharkover's beautifully renovated office is located in the heart of Scotch Plains. Dr. Kharkover helps children of all ages - from newborns to adolescents. Special attention is given to patients with ADHD, behavioral problems, asthma and seasonal allergies, obesity, and atopic dermatitis.
